One song.
One artwork.
Every day.

Every day, a song by a human artist paired with a work of art. You listen, you look, you keep it. Tomorrow there is another one.

Before opening

What mood are you in today?

Coming back every day supports real artists.

The ritual

Thirty seconds.
One look. One gesture.

No algorithm knows you. A person chose this song and this artwork for this mood. All you have to do is come back.

1

You listen

Thirty seconds of a song by a human artist. If you like it, follow it on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube.

2

You look

An artwork that pairs with it, with its number, its author and its museum. Tap the artwork to see it large.

3

You keep it

The box goes into your collection. Tomorrow there is another one. The seal breaks once a day.

The vocabulary

Twelve moods.
One tap.

No questionnaires, no tastes to declare. The same vocabulary the curators use at the table is the one you use when you open the box. Pick one to open its box.

What you kept

Your collection

You have not kept any box yet. Open today's and press “Keep this box”.

Human artists

Being in the box is free.

HumanArtBox exists so that attention goes back to the people who make the music and the art. We never charge the artist.

For musicians and visual artists

  • A fixed fee for every box you appear in, plus a proportional share of the community pool.
  • Every link to you is tracked. You see what each box generates: plays, visits, sales.
  • You hand in your kit once: a photo, a two-line bio and your links. No scraping.
  • Your work is shown inside the box frame, never cropped as a background.

We never charge the artist. Never.

The museums, meanwhile

In this first phase the artworks come from open, public-domain collections. Every box carries the inventory number and the link to the museum.

The 30-second previews come from the iTunes and Deezer catalogues. To listen to the full song, the links take you to the artist's platform.

Phase 2: ten living artists enter the same pipeline.

Embeddable

The box also lives on your website.

One line of code. The logo waits in a corner and the box of the day opens over your content without touching your styles. Free for people and blogs.

        defer></script>

How it is fed

  • Curators approve pairings at the table and export the feed as JSON.
  • The widget rotates one pairing per day over that feed, filtered by the visitor's mood.
  • Every host website gets its own postmark on the boxes kept from there.
